Can I pay with credit card?
Yes, we offer payment through PayPal for credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa and American Express. You do not need a PayPal account to complete the payment and there are no additional costs. The same holds for iDeal payments.
What are the shipping costs and where do you ship to?
Shipping is included in the product price for Austria, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and United Kingdom. If you would like us to ship elsewhere, please contact us.
How does the VAT (Value Added Tax) apply to your products?
We charge the VAT based on Dutch taxes (21% BTW). This is applicable to virtually all clients in the EU. If you buy the product for your company and you are based inside the EU but outside The Netherlands and you have a company VAT number, 0% VAT is applicable. Only if this is the case, please contact us with your VAT number and your product list.
What is the difference between Poster, Acrylic glass and Aluminium?
Posters are printed on highly specialised printing machines using premium photo paper (230 g/m²). A coated surface guarantees brilliant colours and pure white. Acrylic glass and Aluminium both offer a rigid map, with the professional look and feel of a gallery-style image. Acrylic glass (also known as Plexiglas®) offers a light and more transparant presentation with extraordinary depth of the map. The Aluminium version is also known as Alu-Dibond and is made up of two sheets of aluminium sandwiching a composite core. Alu-Dibond is engineered to retain superior flatness and will not bow like solid aluminium. It offers rigid and strong look of the map. Please refer to the Materials page more information.
Can I buy other sizes than those that are currently offered?
We cannot offer other sizes than advertised at this moment. However, we could reconsider if there proves to be enough demand for other map sizes. Please contact us for more information.
I have an idea for a map, can MuseMaps make this?
We only offer maps-on-demand only for exceptional cases as part of our quality policy, and if we do other prices apply. We are always open to new ideas for our collection. If you would like to have more information or make suggestions, please contact us for more information.
Can I buy any of the offered maps in different colors to fit my interior design?

What is the delivery time of my map?
Depending on the material and the size, the purchased map will be delivered (within The Netherlands) between 4-12 workdays from the moment of purchase. Any deliveries outside of The Netherlands may take slightly longer.
Can I pick up the map myself instead of having it delivered?
No. Because our process and production takes place at several different locations, it is not possible to pick up the map at a specific location.
What is the weight of the maps?
The posters are all below 500 grams. The Acrylics and Aluminium maps weigh about 3 kg for 120x60 cm, about 6 kg for 160x80 cm and about 9 kg for 200x100 cm. Make sure you consider the condition of the wall you plan to hang the map on and choose a hanging system and screws accordingly.
Do I have a guarantee on my purchase?
Yes. A guarantee of two years is offered. This guarantee is only valid as long as the product is used appropriately. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
